Looking for a project manager?
With 16 years of experience in culture management, I specialize in securing grants, organizing events, and driving projects from concept to completion. My expertise spans community, art & education projects, and international collaboration. I excel in practical tasks like writing, producing, budgeting, bookkeeping, and reporting.
Projects
I’m a project manager, grant writer, and published author passionate about making things happen. Over the past 16 years, I've coordinated a wide range of projects, including international exchanges and partner visits, adult and youth education projects, community learning events, workshops, film, music, and cultural festivals, conferences, promotional events, concerts, theater productions, film screenings, short film productions, publishing projects, literature events, and other.
Grants
My work has secured grants from the Erasmus+ program, the Artists’ Salary Fund, the City of Reykjavík, the EEA Grants, the Nordic Culture Fund, the Nordic Culture Point, the Polish Ministry of Culture, and more.
Writing
Fluent in English and Polish, with conversational Icelandic, I’ve published in Icelandic journals and released three books—two with Icelandic publishers and one self-published. I've also worked as an editor, translator, and script consultant for theater and film. I have taught creative writing to children, teenagers, adults, and seniors.
Bringing Ideas to Life
I’m passionate about turning ideas into reality. With a background in culture and education, I bring a practical, entrepreneurial approach to my work. I thrive on managing budgets, spreadsheets, and timelines. I've founded and co-founded multiple international projects, three non-profits, a theater production company, a publishing house, and a popular community event series.
